What is the best way to find prior addresses and dates of residency? I’ve already tried People Search no luck!

People Search and the like have just given me partial lists of addresses but no dates. Also if anyone has any idea how to find out who the landlord was I would greatly appreciate the help! Thanks for any help you can give!
Credit reports also are no help – some addresses but no dates.
